What the connector does连接器能做什么

• Reads a menu photo into ChefBear. From 1 to 5 photos you share as links, ChefBear builds a private, structured menu: dish names, short descriptions, categories and prices, in the language you choose.
• Lets Claude read your saved menu. Claude compares the dishes and prices with the flavors, cravings, appetite and party size you describe, and helps you pick.
• Shares a menu when you ask. It can create a link friends can open, and turn that link off later.

• 把菜单照片读进 ChefBear。你以链接形式提供 1 到 5 张照片，ChefBear 会整理出一份私人的结构化菜单：菜名、简短介绍、分类和价格，语言由你选择。
• 让 Claude 读取你保存的菜单。Claude 会结合你描述的口味、想吃的东西、饥饿程度和用餐人数，对照菜品和价格，帮你挑选。

It does not read your ChefBear taste profile, meal history or orders, does not create images, and never places orders or takes payments. Dish details come from the restaurant’s menu, so confirm anything important with the restaurant before you order.

它不会读取你在 ChefBear 里的口味档案、用餐记录或订单，不生成图片，也不会下单或付款。菜品信息以餐厅菜单为准，重要的事项请在点餐前向餐厅确认。

Before you start开始之前

• An iPhone with ChefBear from the App Store, version 4.4 or later, signed in with Apple, Google or a verified email. You approve the connection there with a 3-digit code; earlier versions can’t enter it.
• Imports use your account’s menu recognition allowance, the same as scanning in the app. Reading a saved menu does not.
• Accounts in the mainland China service region can’t connect ChefBear to Claude, and a connection can’t be approved from within mainland China.

• 一部装有 ChefBear 4.4 或更高版本的 iPhone（从 App Store 下载），并用 Apple、Google 或已验证的邮箱登录。连接要在 App 里输入 3 位验证码确认，更早的版本无法输入。

Connect ChefBear连接 ChefBear

Claude on the web, desktop and mobile网页版、桌面版和手机版 Claude

1. Get ChefBear on your iPhone. Download ChefBear on the App Store and sign in with Apple, Google or a verified email.
2. Add ChefBear in Claude. Select Add ChefBear in Claude, or in Claude open Settings → Connectors → Browse, find ChefBear and add it. If it isn’t listed for you yet, use Add custom connector with the address below.
3. Connect when Claude asks. The first time Claude uses ChefBear, it asks you to connect. A ChefBear page shows a 3-digit code: open ChefBear (scan the QR code with your iPhone, or tap Open ChefBear on your phone), type the code and tap Allow. Then go back to Claude. If Claude says the connection failed, tap Retry.

The connect page shows what Claude will be able to do and that you’ll return to claude.ai. Never enter a code someone else sends you. If you open it before you have the app, get ChefBear and sign in, then go back to the page and tap Open ChefBear again, or scan its QR code again; the page stays open for 10 minutes.

连接页面会列出 Claude 可以做的事，并注明确认后会返回 claude.ai。不要输入别人发给你的验证码。如果打开页面时还没有 ChefBear App，先下载并登录，再回到这个页面点一次 打开 ChefBear，或重新扫描二维码；页面 10 分钟内有效。

What you allow你授予的权限

• Read menus — read the ChefBear menus you ask about.
• Import menus — import menu photos you provide, using your recognition allowance.
• Share menus — create or turn off public menu links when you ask.

The connection stays on until you disconnect it, so you don’t have to approve again every time. You can see and disconnect connected apps in ChefBear under Settings › Connected apps.

Claude can’t pass a photo you attach in the chat to ChefBear, so share a link to the photo instead (one that opens without signing in). In the ChefBear app you can also scan the menu directly.

Claude 不能把你在对话里附加的照片交给 ChefBear，请改为提供照片链接（无需登录即可打开）。也可以直接在 ChefBear App 里扫描菜单。

Privacy隐私

• What ChefBear receives: only what Claude sends to these tools — photo links, menu and import IDs and a language. ChefBear does not receive your conversation.
• What Claude receives: the menu text, prices and links these tools return. Never your taste profile, allergy information, orders or menu photos. Anthropic’s privacy policy covers how Claude handles them.
• Menus stay private until you ask for a share link. Anyone with a share link can view that menu’s dishes and prices; original photos are never shared.
• Imported photos are stored privately with your menu. See the ChefBear privacy policy for retention and your choices.

• ChefBear 收到的内容：只有 Claude 传给这些工具的内容——照片链接、菜单和导入编号以及语言。ChefBear 不会收到你的对话。

Disconnect断开连接

In ChefBear, open Settings › Connected apps and tap Disconnect: Claude loses access right away. You can also disconnect in Claude under Settings → Connectors → ChefBear. To stop a share link, ask Claude to turn it off or stop sharing in the ChefBear app. Deleting your ChefBear account also ends every connection.

在 ChefBear 中打开 设置 › 已连接的应用，点 断开，Claude 会立即失去访问权限。也可以在 Claude 的 设置 → 连接器 → ChefBear 中断开。要停止某个分享链接，可以让 Claude 关闭它，或在 ChefBear App 里停止分享。注销 ChefBear 账号也会结束所有连接。

If something doesn’t work遇到问题

• “A photo link couldn’t be downloaded” — use a direct link to a JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC or AVIF image (up to 15 MB) that opens without signing in.
• The import is still pending — recognition usually takes 20 to 60 seconds; ask Claude to check again.
• “Recognition allowance used up” — it becomes available again when your allowance resets.
• Claude says the connection failed — tap Retry in Claude. If the connect page has expired (after 10 minutes), start again from Settings → Connectors.
• “Open ChefBear” goes to the App Store — ChefBear isn’t on this iPhone yet. Install it and sign in, then go back to the connect page and tap Open ChefBear again.
• The connection was lost — reconnect from Settings → Connectors.

• “照片链接无法下载”——请使用无需登录即可打开、直接指向 JPEG、PNG、WebP、HEIC 或 AVIF 图片（不超过 15 MB）的链接。
• 导入一直在进行中——识别通常需要 20 到 60 秒，可以让 Claude 再查一次。
• “识别额度已用完”——额度重置后即可继续使用。
• Claude 提示连接失败——在 Claude 中点 Retry（重试）。如果连接页面已过期（超过 10 分钟），从 设置 → 连接器 重新开始。
